Become a 911 Dispatcher – Additional Testing Dates for 2022!

The City of Port Angeles is offering local testing for those interested in becoming a 911 Dispatcher for the Port Angeles Police Department. If you have any questions or would like to register for an exam, please contact Human Resources at humanresources@cityofpa.us.

Upcoming Public Safety Testing Dates:

• April 21, 2022 at 10:00 am
• May 11, 2022 at 10:00 am
• May 26, 2022 at 10:00 am

Testing will take place in the Council Chambers of City Hall (321 E 5th St).

Communications Officer Salary Range: $26.171 – $35.052 per hour ($54,435.26 – $72,908.16 annually)

$1,500 Sign-on Bonus: New 911 Dispatchers are currently eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, payable at time of completion of probation

Employee shares 11.5% of the medical premium.
