The Parks & Recreation Department has announced changes to vehicle parking at Lincoln Park, aiming to improve access for both daily visitors and those attending events. The new parking arrangements will be implemented starting Wednesday, October 1.

According to the department, the parking area adjacent to the Loomis Building will now be reserved specifically for organized groups, events, and activities that are coordinated through the Parks & Recreation Department. A gate has been installed at this location and will be opened during scheduled events to ensure parking availability for attendees.

In addition to these changes, twenty new general parking spaces have been added just north of the Loomis Building at the site of the old tennis courts. These spaces are intended for other park visitors and offer easy access to nearby areas of the park and ponds.

“We appreciate your cooperation as we work to improve access for all who enjoy Lincoln Park,” stated the Parks & Recreation Department.

For further information about Lincoln Park or facility rentals, residents are encouraged to contact the Parks & Recreation Department by email at parksandrecreation@cityofpa.us.
