Due to damage caused by recent westerly high winds, two of ten floats located on the west side of the Ediz Hook Boat Launch have sustained critical failures. To prevent the docks from sinking, Parks & Recreation staff will be removing the damaged floats immediately.
The two floats are to be repaired and, once completed, the entire dock put back into place. However, some time may be required to adequately source the parts and schedule the necessary repairs.
The east side of the boat launch remains operational.
