City of Forks recently issued the following announcement on March 8.

Make your trip plans now, because the Forks Logging and Mill Tours will be returning soon! On Wednesdays, starting May 25th through August 31st, you and your family can take one of these FREE tours, and you can see these big machines up close and in action!

The tours are made possible by dedicated local guides who volunteer their time. Anyone who is interested in the largest industry in the Forks area, will gain insight and understanding about our forest resources in a relaxed atmosphere. Learn about modern practices, the policies that affect our forests and the global impacts of good forest management.
