The Public Works Department is seeking motivated professionals interested in joining our progressive engineering and project management team. An applicant may be hired at an Engineer II, III or IV position, depending on qualifications and experience.

Located in Port Townsend, the Engineer applies professional and technical expertise to deliver capital projects including wastewater facilities, roads, trails, bridges and stormwater infrastructure.  Duties include development of plans, specifications, and estimates, legal and technical research, consultant and grant management, and construction management and inspection.  A working knowledge of federal, state and county policies and regulations is highly desirable.
