Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Washington students paid $14,450 to attend the two-year private not-for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 54 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 6 students received grants or scholarships totaling $28,274 and 5 students took out student loans totaling more than $33,166.

Including all undergraduates (38), 12 students used grants or scholarships totaling $51,155, and 18 students took out $136,072 in federal student loans.
