City of Montesano issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
All members of the Public are hereby given notice that the City Council of the City of Montesano will hold a hearing open to the public for purposes of receiving comments, suggestions, recommendations and other material from the public at large and from all interested persons in relation to the matter specified below. The hearing is set for Tuesday, September 8, 2020 and will commence at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the hearing may be called to order in the Council Chambers of the City of Montesano, 112 N. Main Street, Montesano, Washington. The matters subject to the hearing are as follows: Flood prevention ordinance changes to chapter 17.40 MMC The City Council reserves the right to take such action on the matter, including the adoption or the making of final recommendations thereon as may be allowed by law upon completion of the hearing.
