City of Elma issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
We sadly & regretfully announce that the 2020 season of the Frightmare in Elma has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We feel it was a such a great success in 2019 being our first year, but we had to consider the safety and security of our guests, actors and crew as we came to this decision.
We look forward to 2021 which will be our 2nd season of our haunted barn! As we get closer to the planning stages next year we will reach out to those of you who have helped previously and have expressed interested in helping in our future events.
