ELMA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Congratulations to Michelle Picinich from WDFW Police!

Elma Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.

Michelle, a communications officer, was recognized and honored at an online awards ceremony today as the 2019 Enforcement Program’s Employee of the Year.

Michelle has been instrumental in dispatch response for calls for service responding and directing close to 10,000 calls made by the public and local municipalities last year, she also demonstrated superior abilities as a trainer  to new communications staff.  She serves as a State Agency Liaison in the State Emergency Management Operations Center and actively participates in numerous drills and workshops furthering the effectiveness of WDFW’s Dispatch Communications Center. She is happy to step in and take on new tasks, provide exceptional support to officers in the field, and adds a level of collaborative teamwork with her “can do” attitude.

Thank you Michelle for your dedication to the Law Enforcement Program and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
