COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEETING— MONDAY

The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners will hold its regular meeting Monday, April 4, 2022 beginning at 9 a.m.

Information on how to join this meeting virtually and make public comments can be found at the end of this post.

You are welcome to join this meeting in-person. However, this option may be limited as the County is operating at 50 percent room occupancy at this time (19 persons).

9 a.m. Public Comment

Please use video, audio or e-mail options to participate. You also are welcome to make public comments in Chambers. Comments will be limited to three minutes, with up to 30 minutes dedicated to listening and response. Written comments may be submitted to jeffbocc@co.jefferson.wa.us and will be added to the correspondence log.

Consent Agenda: Hearing Notice for Monday, April 18 at 10:30 a.m. re: 2022 First Quarter Budget Appropriations/Extensions; Resolution re: surplus property and disposal; Agreement designating Port Townsend and Jefferson County Leader the newspaper for record fo the County; Agreement with Quilcene School District ($5,071.50) for Human Growth and Development HIV/AIDS education; Agreement with People First of Washington State ($13,750) for Self-Determination and Self-Advocacy Services/Education;

And, Agreement with Mark McCauley ($160,000 annually) for employment as Jefferson County Administrator; MOU with One Washington --Keller Rohrback representing Washington Municipalities re: Opioid Litigation; Advisory Board reappointments: Chad Young to Solid Waste Advisory Committee (2 years) ; Owen French to Jefferson County Noxious Weed Control Board (temporary); Advisory Board appointment: Sarah Fairbank (4 years) to Jefferson County Noxious Weed Control Board.

Discussion/Potential Action re: letter inviting Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe to participate in a Chautauqua at the Rhody Festival May 20-22.
