LIFTED - Precautionary Boil Water Notice

Water

On Wednesday March 30th, 2022, water was restored to the homes near the 200 block of Orcas Ave. of Port Angeles. A localized precautionary boil water notice was issued for the homes impacted by the water main break and door hangers were placed at the homes.

This impacted 54 Customers as follows:

  • 17 Homes
  • 2 Apartment complexes
    1. 40 units
    2. 6 units
  • 1 Business
The precautionary boil water notice is now lifted; satisfactory water sample results warranted lifting the notice for the 200 block of Orcas Ave. area of Port Angeles. The water is safe to drink and use. City Water crews will be hanging door hangers to the impacted homes.

The precautionary boil water notice was issued out of an abundance of caution for areas where the water pressure dropped below required levels due to the water main break. Samples taken in the area were tested and it has been verified that the water is safe to drink.

 Thank you for your patience.
