The City of Ocean Shores hosted National Night Out

The City of Ocean Shores hosted National Night Out on August 2, 2022 and we were extremely pleased and grateful to see it was beyond well attended by the community.

This was a fantastic event that brought the Ocean Shores Police and Ocean Shores Fire Department together in an effort to show they are not only here for Ocean Shores during

the scary situations but they are actual people too.

National Night Out allowed the community to come and meet all of these amazing individuals face to face. This was also a great opportunity for neighbors from across Ocean

Shores to get together and discuss activities that may be impacting their local areas, while having fun at the same time.

We had an amazing dinner, incredible music brought to us by KOSW Radio 91.3, a kids fun zone and of course the infamous DUNK TANK which happened to be a "hit" for all age

groups and included our very own:

OSPD Chief Logan

OSPD Code Enforcement Officer Papac

OSPD Sergeant Justman

OSFD Fire Inspector Begley

OSFD Firefighter Davis

A special thanks to the State Parks, CERT, the ELKS, HAM Radio, McDonalds and North Beach Realty for your contributions to the community about safety and drug awareness.

Also to Elroy the Elk and Bagley the Beaver for putting smiles on all the kids faces.

This event was possible by the donations made by individuals and business throughout Grays Harbor County to the Police Association.

We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to our first responders for being a part of Ocean Shores.
