The City of Sequim will rehabilitate selected sections of North 7th Avenue beginning on October 17. The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The
project is expected to take three to four months to complete and is weather dependent.
Work will be performed at the following locations:
• North 7th Avenue from West Spruce Street to West Fir Street
• North Spalder Loop
• South Spalder Loop
Residents can expect delays, localized closures, and detours during work hours. Resident access will be provided. However, residents are encouraged to heed flaggers, cones, and
construction signage, and to be cognizant of large construction equipment and trucks and their backup alarms.
This project includes the installation of a new 8-inch diameter water main, valves, hydrants, 4-inch and 3-inch diameter water supply piping, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, hot
mix asphalt (HMA) pavement, pavement markings and other associated work. The project is being funded by water restricted funds. The work will be performed by Jamestown
Excavating.
