This Friday we present a Greater Grays Harbor Member feature: Clarks Restaurant!

"We renovated Clarks, which had been closed for a year or so, in 1997 and reopened it in 1998. John Clark taught me how to make his grandmother's ice cream recipe and we have been using it in our shakes going on 25 years. We have been voted by the Harbor "Best Hamburger" fifteen times.

We are a family style restaurant that hires the local kids from the North River area often and teach them how to work before heading off to college or work after graduating. Clarks delivers large to-go orders for meetings if they are arranged with us ahead of time.

Here at Clarks, we make most of our menu items ourself, including our own ice cream, patties, fries, soups, salad dressings and, best of all, our pies! We love watching people enjoy our food and intend to keep doing so for many more years."
