Suspicious Circumstances Call

Suspicious Circumstances Call
0Comments

On 04-18-22  at approximately 11:14 A.M. deputies were dispatched to an unknown problem call.  It was reported that a female was riding her bike on Schouweiler Road on her way to work when three males in a dark colored passenger car asked if she needed a ride.  The female told them no and they left.  The vehicle went past her and turned around to go back the other way.  As the vehicle came back by her the males again asked if she was sure she did not want a ride.  She again told them no and they left.  The female felt very uncomfortable and went in the bushes to hide and called a friend to get a ride.  A friend of the female called to report the suspicious circumstances after hearing what happened.  The males made no threats and did not do anything to make the female get in the vehicle without consent.  The sheriff’s office encourages people to listen to their sixth sense (feelings) when they do not feel comfortable.  People can call law enforcement to check on unusual or suspicious circumstances.  Nothing criminal in nature occurred during this call.  This information is for clarification as we do not want to create unnecessary alarm
