0Comments

The editors of this year’s Tidepools magazine are excited to announce the release of the 58th issue. Community members are invited to a celebration of local artists, writers, and musicians at a Launch Party and Award Ceremony on Friday, June 3, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Peninsula College. The ceremony will take place on campus at the ʔaʔkʷustəŋáw̕txʷ House of Learning, PC Longhouse. This event is free and open to the public.

Our community is home to a variety of talented artists, photographers, writers, and musicians, and every year Tidepools offers space where creators of all ages can showcase their work. We are continually amazed at the diversity and quality of the submissions we receive. Thank you to the art and writing communities on the Peninsula that continue to support us, without which Tidepools wouldn’t exist.

An awards ceremony honoring winners of the Tidepools 2022 contest will be followed by a reading of selected works, and some of the artwork featured in the current issue will be on display. Please join us for light refreshments and to pick up a copy of Tidepools 2022.
