Mary E. Scofield has submitted an application to operate a small yoga and Pilates studio, The Studio at The Grange, at 1027 W. 7th Street in Port Angeles. The proposal seeks to convert the former grange hall into a home occupation business offering classes for four to ten people, with a maximum of twelve participants per class.

According to the application, classes would be held Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon.

The site is located in an R7 Residential Mixed Density zone.

A public notice regarding the Home Occupation Permit (HOP 25-0133) has been issued by city authorities. Application materials and further details are available online through city resources.

The proposal was reviewed under environmental regulations and found to be categorically exempt from State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) review according to Washington Administrative Code 197-11-800(6)(b).
