The Greater Grays Harbor Inc., (GGHI) Regional Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council will soon be adding to the more than $184,000 in pandemic emergency grant funding it has already provided to local small businesses with plans for a second wave of relief funding already in the works.
State officials are reporting the COVID-19 pandemic has caused unemployment on the North Olympic Peninsula to reach record highs in April, with more than 2,800 jobs being lost in Clallam and Jefferson Counties, Peninsula Daily News reported.
